One of the ways I've started using LLMs in 2025 is to revamp my website piece by piece.

Have you tried the many AI site builders out there? I have too.

The problem? Monthly fees and you're stuck if you switch hosts. Plus, design options are often limited.

A few weeks ago, I needed a new cookie notification for my site. I couldn't find one I liked, and I didn't want another subscription fee.

So I thought, "Maybe Claude can build it?"

I wrote this prompt that creates a landing page:

In minutes, Claude gave me clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code that was ready to use.

But here's the secret weapon I discovered: break your page into smaller sub-elements and provide examples for each one. Then make minor tweaks to the text in the code.

You can take it even further—ask for meta descriptions and tags. Claude will display the page so you can preview how it will render. I found it helpful to specify which website builder I use and provide visual examples of webpages.

One time-saving tip: create a Project in Claude for Marketing Assets with your brand colors, styles, and other elements as knowledge files. This way, Claude already knows your branding when you ask for new web elements.

Within a few hours, I had a much better site than I could have built on my own. Now I'm creating digital tools using the same approach.

What element does your website need? Try this prompt, adjust for your needs, and let me know how it goes.
