I attended a networking event recently and decided to open the ChatGPT mobile app.

What started as simple note-taking turned into something much more powerful.

As I listened to speakers, I typed key points into ChatGPT.

These notes alone uncovered three potential contract opportunities I hadn't known about. It also revealed market trends that helped me prepare for meetings with people I met at the event.

The real magic happened during conversations. Between discussions, I'd quickly research people through the app. This made every interaction more meaningful, as I could ask specific questions about their work and spot collaboration opportunities instantly.

After exchanging business cards, I would feed the conversation highlights to ChatGPT. This helped me plan the next steps, identify mutual opportunities, and suggest ways to add value to their projects. You can even use ChatGPT to take a photo of their card and have it organize the contact details.

I used the mobile app to search for similar events to meet more people in my target market. If you give it specific criteria, like "AI events in the DC Metro area in the next 45 days," it will build a targeted list.

Think of it as your networking assistant that helps you prepare, connect deeper, and follow up better. And with GPT-4.5 and 5 coming, this capability will expand even further.
