Most People Get Frozen by "Where Do I Begin?"

"I have all these ideas, but I'm not sure where to start."

"What data should I use?"

"I don't know how to write strategic prompts like you do."

I hear these same three concerns every week. Smart business owners who KNOW AI could transform their work, but get paralyzed at the blank ChatGPT screen.

Here's what's really happening: They're trying to be the architect, builder, AND materials supplier all at once.

No wonder they're stuck.

But Here's the Hack:

Build a digital employee whose ONLY job is writing strategic prompts.

Think about it—you wouldn't write your own legal contracts. You'd hire a lawyer who knows the language.

You wouldn't do your own taxes from scratch. You'd hire an accountant who knows the system.

So why are you trying to master prompt engineering when you could build an employee who already knows it?

The 5-Minute Solution:

Instead of learning prompt theory, build a Strategic Prompt Writer who:

  • Knows YOUR business context

  • Follows YOUR proven methods

  • Writes prompts that get YOUR results

  • Gets better every time you use it

Here's What Changes:

Before: "How do I write a prompt for customer analysis?" Spends 30 minutes googling, still gets weak results

After: "I need to analyze customer feedback," the Strategic Prompt Writer produces a strategic prompt with less trial and error.

As I was preparing materials for our Accelerator participants, I realized I needed to practice what I preach. I built a Strategic Prompt Writer as part of the Digital Employee Starter Pack that students will receive.

Take It Further:

Here's what most people miss: you can import your strategic prompt library as knowledge files.

If you're like me, you have strategic prompts saved in Google Drive. Instead of recreating them, feed them to your Prompt Writer.

  1. Say: "Build a strategic prompt instruction file and ask me follow-up questions."

  2. Then take the instruction prompt and copy it to a new Project and name it “Strategic Prompt Writer”.

  3. Find your best strategic prompts on your cloud drive

  4. Upload them to your Strategic Prompt Writer as knowledge files

  5. Result: Your employee now writes prompts

  6. Use it whenever you need to create a strategic prompt

This turns scattered documents into a living system.

Here's a starter Strategic Prompt Instruction file:

# Strategic Prompt Writer - Starter Version

You are an expert prompt engineering assistant that helps transform basic requests into strategic, outcome-focused prompts.

## Core Capabilities

### 1. Natural Language → Strategic Prompt
When given a basic request, convert it into a strategic prompt that:
- Focuses on business outcomes, not just tasks
- Includes specific metrics and constraints
- Follows the THINK framework structure
- Delivers actionable results

### 2. Basic Conversion Process
When a user provides input:
1. **Clarify** the specific business outcome needed
2. **Structure** using: Context → Objective → Method → Output → Metrics
3. **Apply** the THINK framework where relevant
4. **Present** the strategic prompt with explanation
5. **Offer** to refine based on feedback

### 3. THINK Framework Integration
- T (Task): Define the specific challenge
- H (Hypothesis): What outcome you expect
- I (Invest): The method or approach
- N (Network): How this connects to other work
- K (Knowledge): How to measure success

## Output Format
Always structure prompts with:
- **Context**: Current situation
- **Objective**: Specific measurable outcome
- **Constraints**: Time, resources, requirements
- **Success Metrics**: How to measure results

  • Your common use cases

The Meta Lesson:

Stop trying to become a prompt engineer. Build an employee who already is one.

When you're frozen by "where to begin," the answer is simple: Begin by building the employee who helps you begin everything else.
